Last year I found myself constantly searching for new ideas for my children’s lunch boxes. I like to switch things up a bit so my boys aren’t constantly eating the same things over and over, but that’s not always easy.

We received Hormel Natural Choice deli meats as well as other Hormel products to review and we are happy to tell you our thoughts about these products. First off, we will definitely be including the products in our lunchboxes in the coming months. As a matter of fact, I’m excited to hear that the Hormel Natural Choice line has zero preservatives and no artificial colors or flavors. I can’t wait to prepare delicious sandwiches and wraps for my boys lunch using the new Hormel Natural Choice deli meats.
Another great product, and one that makes Mom’s life a whole lot easier is the Hormel REV wraps. These are the perfect after school snack as well (especially in between games, practices or other after school activities). Hormel REV wraps contain only 15 grams of protein or more in each wrap and are available in 8 delicious varieties!
Our school has microwaves for the children to heat their meals if they like. I like to send something hot a couple of times a week as I feel it’s important to eat a hot lunch from time to time. The Hormel Completes cheesy pasta dishes are made with real cheese and even satisfied my pickiest child! The selection is great as well as they come in Macaroni and Cheese, Smoky Bacon Parmesan Rigatoni, Creamy Cheese and Basil Tortellini, Three Cheese Chicken Pasta, Cheesy Ravioli and Italian Herb and Cheese Rigatoni.

I’ve used the Natural Choice cold cuts and really like them. I would love to try the REV wraps – my six year old comes home from school or day camp starving and these would be a great afternoon snack, as you suggest.
This is a great lunch option!! I’d love to try the Pepperoni Pizza flavor!
