We currently have our house on the market and have been looking at homes to buy. When we all sat down to talk as a family about what was important in a home these are some of the things that were mentioned….
Land, basement, several bathrooms, at least 4 bedrooms, an office, a 2 car (or more) garage, pond or pool (this was something the boys mentioned–it’s not important to me), basketball hoop (we have one we are taking with us).
These are just a few of the things that were mentioned. The boys would really like to have land to drive 4 wheelers, go-carts, or whatever other vehicles they can find to ride around. I just want to be sure we have enough land for the boys to be able to run around and have fun. Of course, our boys (my husband included) are already out shopping for fun toys and riding mowers! I just keep hearing about things like Polaris rzr accessories and zero turn mowers! I told my hubby that if they get a Polaris Ranger then Mom is getting something fun, like a new treadmill! Let’s hope we find a place with enough room!
In the meantime, we are going to continue to dream about all of the things we “want” in our new home.
Keeping our fingers crossed and praying that our current home sells soon and we are able to find something suitable for our large family.
