How I Lost the Weight in Just 6 Months #Shakleehq #Cinchspiration

I’m just going to start from the beginning. I would like for you take a minute to really get the full picture of who I was and who I am now, and why the Cinch Inch Loss plan means so much to me.

When I graduated high school rather than going off to college like many of my friends were, I chose to go to modeling/acting school. Many people thought that I was wasting my money by doing something that wouldn’t last throughout my lifetime, however I was determined to prove them wrong. I used my money that I had saved for this and I was going to put forth every effort in order to make it work. I had a lot of fun for a couple of years and it was great for my self esteem. You see, I was always very thin, however I viewed myself differently than others saw me. I never saw myself as being thin or pretty. I felt like I had weight that could be lost and I was average.

I married at the young age of 18 and had my first child when I was just 19. We waited 3 years to have our second child and I did a little modeling between the two, however not a lot. After the second child we were having children every 2 to 2 1/2 years and it really took a toll on my body. I was to the point where I had given up on ever getting my body back. I had pretty much convinced myself that my hips were forever spread and my body was forever going to look like this. Sure, I tried diets here and there and I lost a couple of pounds, but I never really felt skinny or pretty. There was always something missing, and that something had been lost for quite some time.

That all has changed. The way I look at myself is so different from how I have felt in the past. I am happy to say that I’m proud to tell others that I’m the mother of 5 boys now! In the past I heard a lot of, “You look good for having had 5 kids.” Now I hear things like, “I can’t even tell you have had kids!” I love that!

6 month before after(Sorry about the shorts being different. We are packing to move and I have misplaced the other shorts)

Let me back up, I have been drinking a Shaklee Shake and eating a meal bar just about every day now for the past 6 months. I’m going to be honest with you and tell you that I really didn’t exercise a lot for about the first 4 months. I know I should have been exercising like crazy on top of the healthier eating and calorie cutting, but I was simply testing the diet and sliding by. I was shocked, amazed, astonished, you get the picture at how fast I was losing weight, even without spending hours at the gym. Then came the point where I had almost hit my goal weight and had already passed my goal pant size, however I still had some toning to do, that’s when I started working out. By working out, I still did not go out and buy a gym membership or fancy equipment (I can’t afford that), I simply started doing squats, lunges, dancing and getting down on the floor to work my abs.

My body has continued to shrink and transform right in front of me. For once I was starting to feel good about myself!

When I first started the Shaklee Cinch program I was 165 pounds and in a size 13 jean. My goal was to weigh 135 pounds and to be in a size 8 jean by the end of the 6 months.

Cinch Before and After-5 months-edited--FINAL

Where am I now, 6 months later?

I am happy to report that I am 135 pounds and DRUMROLL PLEASE…..

Size

I have never met any of the people in the Shaklee office, but I must say that I want to KISS them right about now! What Shaklee has done for my life is more than words can describe. My body has been completely transformed and my life will never be the same. The way I perceive myself, the way I act, the way I react, it’s all changed. That may sound silly to some, but this truly has been a life changing experience for this mother of 5.

Without further ado, I give you my 6 months stats…

Waist BEFORE: 39.5 Inches———Waist AFTER: 29 Inches

Hips BEFORE: 39 Inches———–Hips AFTER: 33 Inches

Thighs BEFORE: 23 Inches (each)—-Thighs AFTER: 20 Inches (each)

Chest BEFORE: 39 Inches———Chest AFTER: 34 1/2 Inches

Arms BEFORE: 12 Inches (each)——-Arms AFTER: 10 Inches (each)

Weight BEFORE: 165 Pounds——–Weight AFTER: 135 Pounds!!!!

Now, let’s do the math…

Total Pounds Lost: 30

Total Inches Lost: 31

I am pretty proud of what I have accomplished in just a short period of time. Even though the 6 month program is over, I would still love it if you would continue to stop by for my weight loss updates as I’m not finished quite yet, I plan to tone this body up, and will continue to use the Shaklee Cinch products to do just that.

Please visit my Cinchspiration Journal so you can see my month by month updates and get a better idea of exactly what I have accomplished in this short period of time. I promise, it’s worth the time to read through or look at the photos! 🙂

That’s amazing! Congrats on all of your hard work paying off! Will you continue to drink the shakes and eat the bars now that you’re at your goal weight? or will you simply implement other healthy changes?

You look phenomenal, seriously. Can I have your abs?

Hi Summer! Yes, I do plan to go on the maintenance plan which will cut me down to just one shake or bar a day. I feel like it makes my life so much easier when I am able to just grab a bar or whip a shake together quick and go. It takes the guess work out of what I’m going to have, plus I’m not sure I can go without them now–I really enjoy them! 🙂 I do still need to work on toning that belly and those love handles up some more though, but I’m happy with where I am at.
Thank you so much! You don’t know how much it means to me to hear that someone wants “my abs!” ha ha! 🙂

wow! You look amazing! I am a mom of five too!(4 girls 1 boy) and I can relate. It’s been 4.5 months since I had my son and I am ready to get my body back. Pre pregnancy I was 165 And am 170 now so unfortunately I have yet to get back to my weight but ultimately my goal weight is 135 which is what I was after baby #1. I’m not sure I can afford the plan you used but I am trying to eat healthier and exercise more. Your definitely an inspiration. My husband doesn’t understand when I say that I don’t like when people say I look good for having five kids. lol I’m glad someone does.Thank you for the motivation.

You look fantastic and you are now a tiny little thing! I cant do it that quick anymore and I sure wish the diet company would move some of their shakes or meal replacements from the less sweet to the salty. I am a carb addict- pizza, crackers, snack mox are my downfall far more than sweets. I would also have to exercise like mad!
