You might remember the promotions we did for JoeShopping.com a while back. If you don’t, that’s ok. JoeShopping.com is a site that combines comparison shopping and social networking all in one place. Users can compare prices on their favorite must-have products, find the best price for what they’re looking for and get the scoop on the best coupons, deals and bargains around. That’s not all though, they offer a highly interactive shopping community where users can meet new friends, share gift ideas, write product reviews, chat about favorite brands and more (yes, there’s even more!) With so many options and resources at your disposal JoeShopping.com really is a place where you never shop alone.
Because I am an honest blogger, I will admit that when I first received the email about the newest promotion from JoeShopping.com I was a little taken back by it. I actually emailed the company stating that I thought it was a bad promotion on their part and that I thought it would bring negativity to a company that I had only had good things to speak of in the past. I was a little upset by the promotion because I wanted so bad to love JoeShopping, but I guess you can’t always love everything, right?
I have since visited JoeShopping again because, well darnit they just had to lure me in with a Kindle Fire giveaway and since that is at the top of my “I wish I could get, but I have 5 kids and will not be buying for myself” Christmas list, I had to visit the site to learn more. That’s right people, peer pressure got to me, I won’t lie! I’m glad I visited the site though because I was able to see what the promotion is really about and I was able to see that JoeShopping is not promoting what I originally thought they were promoting, beliefs that the world would soon be ending and so forth.
What they are doing is running a fun promotion with an amazing prize!
Details below…
JoeShopping is asking bloggers to create a list of the things that they would like before they “kick the bucket.” That’s not hard for me because there are a ton of things that I would love to have in my lifetime, and they are always changing!
So, here is my list of the 5 items, events and activities that I would like to achieve at some point in my life.
In no particular order…
1.) Squeeze all 5 boys into the vehicle and drive to Disney! My boys want to go there and to be quite honest, so do I! I want to see what all of the fuss is about.
2.) Build our dream home. With 5 boys we could definitely use a house with a basement. I’m not looking for a mansion here people (I do have to continue to clean this thing) but I would love to have a decent sized home with a basement (and maybe a little padding on those walls downstairs? he he)
3.) I want to invent a splatter guard for the toilet for when little boys pee (while sitting) and it goes between the seat. (Sigh, I do not have the cash to invent something, so if someone could quickly invent that while I still have the need for it, that would be great!)
4.) I would love to be able to afford a maid service (Yeah I said it. With 5 boys I couldn’t possibly keep up and well, I’m too tired to even try, so a maid service to at least help out -a little- would be great!)
5.) I want to collect enough socks and underwear for the children in my neighborhood that are in need that they won’t ever have to worry about these items again. (A silly thing, I know, however if you have been following my blog you will remember the post not long ago about how I have started a Sock and Underwear Drive for needy children in my area. This is important to me as these are items not a lot of people think about donating.)
Although I don’t much care for competition, I would love to see everyone have a shot at winning, so feel free to visit JoeShopping Bucket List Kindle Fire Giveaway!
