Ice Cream is my weakness. There, I said it. I can’t help it, I’ve always had a love for ice cream for as long as I can remember! As a matter of fact, it didn’t matter how old I was, I wasn’t ashamed to chase the ice cream truck down! I can remember standing at the end of the driveway with an umbrella with my step-father in the rain waiting for the ice cream truck to stop! For whatever reason he would always fly past our house and we would have to chase him down! Those were great memories! I know we have a photo of it around here somewhere because my mother was so kind to stand by the front door snapping pics! Little did she know, I’m not embarrassed! I love my ice cream! ๐ Oh, what we do for love…
I love watching my little ones eat ice cream. They can never seem to keep it on the cone, it’s typically all over the face, especially the nose! It’s a mess, but always worth snapping a pic and a good laugh!
Guess what!? You don’t have to wait for the ice cream truck! You don’t have to chase them down in the rain with an umbrella and you don’t have to listen for their tunes waiting for them to get closer and closer. Nope! You can create your own memories with your family by purchasing Unilever ice cream brands (Magnum, Breyers, Klondike, Frutare and Popsicle) at your local Walgreens store!
Don’t wait for the ice cream truck! Grab your keys and head on down to your local Walgreens! How convenient is that!? I love keeping my refrigerator stocked and ready for a summer treat on a hot day (or after a sports event! Our little soccer players love a nice little reward for their efforts!)
Are you like me, do you have a real weakness for ice cream?
What is your favorite ice cream treat?

Drumsticks are my favorite! If the guilt wouldn’t be too much, I would probably eat 2 or 3 at one time! lol I’ve never tried/heard of Fruttare. Those look pretty yummy. I may have to look for those when I go to the store late. I prefer to call ice cream my nemesis….instead of my weakness. That way when my husband asks what I did that I day I can say, “Oh ya know….made dinner, played with the baby, defeated my nemesis….the usual.” bahahahahahahaha…of course that’s only on days when there is no ice cream in my freezer, cause to be honest (and I can totally tell we are laying it out on the line here) that if it was IN my freezer, my response would not be as epic. ๐
