I bet you read that title and had to come check out the post to see exactly what I meant by coke, didn’t you? No silly, I meant the Drink! When I was pregnant with all 4 of my boys I always craved Dr.Pepper with crushed ice. With this baby Dr.Pepper doesn’t even sound good, but Coke does! It all started when I picked up a coke at the drive through at McDonalds a couple of weeks ago. Ever since, I feel like I can’t live without it! Seriously though, my morning sickness is getting better! I’m still getting sick, but not NEAR as much! When I was pregnant with my first I was going to a midwife and I remember her telling me to drink Coke because it would help with my morning sickness. Of course, with that child I didn’t like the taste of Coke at the time. But with this child…I love it! I’m not saying that it’s definitely the Coke that is helping the morning sickness, but since I’m craving it and the morning sickness is letting up a little, let’s just pretend that is what’s doing it, ok? 🙂
My birthday was good. I got a lot of cleaning done. Not that I wanted to clean on my birthday, but it really needed done. I also spent way to much time on the computer, but I figured who cares because it was my day, right? I didn’t make myself a cake though and the boys were bummed that we didn’t have birthday cake. There’s always next year, right?
My 21 month old is already going through what I would call the Terrible Twos! Yesterday was no exception. You wouldn’t believe how many times I caught him climbing the kitchen cabinets, getting into the cupboards and trying to eat something or make a mess in something. For instance, he had coffee creamer all over the counter, in his hair, and all over his clothes 3 times!!!! I sure was tired of giving baths yesterday! For those of you wondering why I kept putting the coffee creamer back in the same spot where he could reach it…I didn’t! The creamer was moved several times (while he was not looking) and we put in a higher place each time. This child is just good at hide n seek!
I could go on and on about the things my 21 month old gets into, but I’ll save some of those for another post. It’s almost lunch time and I need to figure out what the kids and I are going to have for lunch today. It’s Friday…no meat! If anyone has any good meatless recipes I would love to hear them!
