How was your Mother’s Day?
Mine was great! We woke up early and after everyone had showered and dressed we went out to get some breakfast. After breakfast we headed to my in-laws for a bit to visit with hubby’s Mom on Mother’s Day. We had a nice visit there and then headed to my Mom’s where we met up with not only my Mom, but my sister and her family as well. The boys had a ton of fun playing while all of the adults enjoyed each others’ company. We ordered take-out for lunch and boy was it better than cooking!
My 6 year old made me a card at school as well as a small potted flower.
Our 4 year old also brought home a flower and a card.
When my 4th grader saw this he was a little disappointed that they didn’t make anything for their Moms for Mother’s Day. The boys did make me cards and other assorted crafts at home as well. They love crafts and they love to give gifts, which I think is great! (I love to give gifts too!)
Last night I had a dream that I was having a GIRL! It was a little weird though because I did not see the baby’s face. I was laying there and the doctor handed me the baby sort of feet first and the only thing I really saw was that it did NOT have boy parts! I woke up with a weird feeling and a little shock! It took a minute for it to sink in that it was just a dream! No, I’m not convinced that I am having a girl now, however I am convinced that I must get my butt in gear and buy that ONE girl outfit for the hospital pics/going home outfit “just in case.”

I have been having a really hard time finding a little girl outfit (not so much that I can’t find one, but I’m having a hard time buying one.) If anyone knows of a really nice boutique or etsy shop that sells cute newborn clothes PLEASE let me know!

The school year is just about over and I feel like I have been crazy busy lately! I have a million things to do to get ready for my youngest son’s birthday party, which is only a couple of weeks away, as well as getting things ready for our vacation, which is at the end of the month. Yikes, I’m not prepared at all! To top it all off my hubby has been traveling a lot for work. He is trying to get as much of his traveling in as he can before the baby is here so he can take some time off to be home with us for a bit.

My 6 year old has his first baseball game on Tuesday! I’ll take lots of pics! I can’t wait to go watch him! It is so fun at this age!

More to come on Raising My 4 Sons…
