Wow I hate not being around all that much! I would give you all sorts of excuses, but I’ll just apologize and try to do better in the future. However, I think all of us will be a little off and on until after the holidays. If you are like me you have a really hard time juggling everything. I have sat down several times in hopes of writing up a really nice, funny post for you all to read, but I always find myself being pulled in another direction or distracted by something else that needs my attention.
How does the tree in your house look?
Our tree was so pretty the day we put it up. We have white lights and red lights on it. All of the ornaments are plastic this year due to the fact that my little guy thinks they are balls. We no longer have ornaments on 3/4 of the tree (little guy is getting too tall!) Last year it was just the ornaments at the bottom of the tree that would come up missing. This year my tree looks pretty bare! The lights are pretty though! 🙂 Unfortunately I have had to throw most of my ornaments away (and just as I was really starting to like these.) The baby seems to think that they are balls and he LOVES to throw them for the dog to retrieve. The dog just loves this! Good thing we bought those plastic ornaments! I think I’ll wait until next year to buy new ornaments. Or maybe the year after? Who knows, maybe we’ll just decorate the top half of the tree for the next few years? Oh wait, he’ll be getting taller!
Are any of you having the luck that I am having?
My little guy is honestly a little ball full of energy! Nothing really slows him down. He is always on the go…go…go! I guess having 3 older brothers to watch has really taught him a lot! The little bugger likes to pull the bottom drawer out in the kitchen, climb on the ends of it like a little balancing trapeze artist as his little nose can now see above the counter and he can get at whatever it is his little heart desires. I tell you, this guy is definitely a dare devil! Nothing really scares him. I have even come home from grocery shopping and as I’m pulling into the drive I have seen him standing in the window behind the couch! Little bugger!
Oh to have half of their energy!
Well, Christmas is not far away. Have you gotten your Christmas cards out yet? I have NOT! I won 25 free photo cards (however I need about 50-75 cards-have to send to a lot of people from hubby’s work too.) I JUST ordered the 25 free cards today and did 2 days shipping, so I’m hoping they get here in time! I plan to try to get another pic of the boys tonight since I haven’t had much luck with that. If we could go outdoors to take one I think it would come out much better! I hope to send that off to get cards that I can pick up locally within the next day or 2. Oh how I hope I get them in time!
