As I scroll down my wall on Facebook to see what all of my friends and family members have been up to I’m constantly reminded at just how much I miss summer! I see car accidents, frigid temps and weather updates and most of all I see sicknesses. I’m really amazed at how many different illnesses have been going around this year. Some of my family and friends have been hit with sickness after sickness over and over again. I’m sure they probably feel as though their family will never be normal again! I couldn’t imagine!
We like to take extra caution and so I always have a medicine cabinet that is full and ready for any illness that wants to knock on our door! (I’m not even joking!)
We recently added Vicks DayQuil and NyQuil Severe to our cabinet. We got it because we know it works and because I don’t want to be one of those families that can’t get rid of the sicknesses. Yeah, we pretty much don’t want to be miserable. Why should we if there are products out there that can shorten our sicknesses and help us get back on our feet faster?
We found Vicks DayQuil and NyQuil at Walmart. It was back by the pharmacy and super easy to find.
I’m sure some of you can agree that when the husband/men get sick they seem to act like they are sicker than ANYONE has ever been? You hearing me? You are nodding, aren’t you?
Yeah, my husband is the exact same way. Luckily, he doesn’t get sick that often, but when he does I’m sure to give him something that is going to take care of all of his symptoms from the headache down to the fever. Since he doesn’t like to take medicine I need to make sure we have it all covered at once. You bet your butt I’m not about to get 6 different pills down that man’s throat!
Now that our medicine cabinet is full, we are hoping to stay healthy and at least comfortable (if we do happen to get sick) the rest of the winter!
What do you do when someone in your family gets sick?
Do you have a medicine cabinet already stocked, or do you run out at the onset of symptoms?
