Here is my story…
Growing up I was the oldest of 3 girls. I was always very thin and never had a problem with weight. My sisters would sometimes get mad at me because I could eat and eat and it didn’t matter.
Fast forward a few years…My husband and I got married when I was just 18 years old. I weighed in at 118 pounds on my wedding day. A year later I gave birth to our first born (he’s almost 12 now.) I gained a whopping 52 pounds while pregnant with him. I was worried I would never lose the weight, however I became very sick after having him and lost 40 pounds the first week. My fears of not losing the weight were gone, but my body was never really the same. My hips were always wider and my body was no longer tone like it once was.
And as you all know, I have been pretty much having babies every couple of years since my first child was born. Talk about taking a toll on the ol’ body…time definitely wasn’t on my side. The more babies I had, the more things started to sag towards the ground (and I’m not just talking about my boobs). After rapidly gaining and slowly losing weight with each pregnancy I got tired and decided that I was content with the way I looked. It was just too much work exercising and trying to eat healthy. I gave into temptation and ate at Fast Food chains more than I would like to admit. It was convenient and that is all I can say.
I was given the opportunity to give Cinch a try last year. This was perfect for me! While on the program I had SO much energy and was losing weight at a very nice steady pace. I was proud of myself and felt good about ME. So, why did I quit? My one month supply of Cinch ran out and I felt like I wasn’t worth the investment. It’s sad to say it, but I want to be completely honest with you all. As a mother, and I’m sure many of you will agree with me, we tend to think of ourselves last and our other family members first. You know what though? Who are we hurting when we don’t take care of ourselves? We are hurting our whole family. It took a lot for me to realize this, but I want to be as healthy as I can not only for ME, but for my family. In order for me to show my children how they need to eat and exercise, I need to do it first hand.
And that is why I have taken on this challenge and will be pushing myself to be the better ME that I know I can be!
Life doesn’t have be tough…make it easier with Cinch!
