It’s Time to Decorate For Fall #ad

I just love Fall and everything out it! The crisp air in my face, the coloring of the changing leaves, hoodies, bon fires, blanket scarves, boots and jeans…I love it all! I know it’s only the first of September, but I have already started to decorate my house for fall and I couldn’t be more excited about how it is all turning out!

This year I decided since I’m in a new home I am going to start fresh with new decor. Did you know that Oriental Trading has more than just wedding and party favors? They sure do! Not only did we start our homeschool year off with some fun items from Oriental Trading—Read our Back to School post, but now I am decorating my home with fun items I picked up on the Oriental Trading website!

I love centerpieces and I knew I wanted a new centerpiece for the island in our kitchen, but I struggled to find something that was the right size and look. I had a vision of what I wanted, but needed to make it come to life. When I saw the adorable milk bottle set with stand, I just knew I had to have it! In this pic I threw a few fall colored flowers into the bottles. You can leave the bottles the way they are or change out the flowers for the different changing seasons. I plan to put mums or something similar in mine. Had I thought of that sooner I would have ordered artificial flowers as well.

This is one of my absolute favorite decorations in my home right now! I picked up the lanterns last year at Oriental Trading. You can read that post here. I filled the lanterns with leaves and little gourds. I loved them just as they were, however this year I decided to add a little more fall foliage—-and I’m so glad I did! I simply wrapped the Fall Harvest Swag around the outside of my lantern. It was so simple that my 7 year old could have done it!

Some of the other items I picked up were this adorable Autumn Leaves Barn Star and Bundle of Twigs. I plan to put the twigs into a tall crock to decorate the corner of our family room. I’m so excited about all of our new fall decorations!
