I love how far technology has come. When you sit down and really think about the way things have changed from when we were kids to how we live today, it’s really sort of crazy. My children didn’t even know what a phone booth was until we saw one in a museum—Yes, a MUSEUM!
I am not complaining though. Life is much easier with all of the advanced technology and so forth. One thing that I’m really happy about is the advancement in products for babies and young children. We were recently sent a Joovy Spoon for review. As you all may know, I do not have children young enough for the Spoon, however I was able to borrow an adorable little baby from a friend for this review. I have been in contact with her on many occasions since we tested out the Spoon and they have nothing but good things to say!
What is the Joovy Spoon?
The Spoon is a mix between a walker and a high chair. It’s sort of what it would be like if a walker and a high chair had a baby. Ok, that’s just weird, but you get my drift, right? The Spoon walker combines both of these products into one to provide you/your baby with the perfect balance of eating, playing and learning to walk! Not only is the Spoon super looking, but it’s also very practical as well.
Included with the Spoons is a super-sized tray that has a removable insert that can be wiped clean or put in the dishwasher for convenience. (We all love convenience!) When your baby finished his/her meal there is plenty of room for play! The tray is large enough for toys too!
The Spoon also features an ultra-wide base that provides unparalleled strength, stability, mobility and safety for your little “walker–soon to be walker”. The base is wide to ensure that little fingers won’t get pinched on the side of the tray if your toddler bumps into the wall. (They were really thinking about everything when they made this product!) The seat pad is supportive and really comfortable. It is also machine washable!
It doesn’t matter if your baby is still growing because the Spoon has 3 height positions that are great for a child that can sit upright unassisted, up to 30lbs and 33.5 inches tall. The Spon is built to last with steel reinforcement, oversized wheels and non-slip pads.
Did I mention that it folds flat for easy storage? That is one of my favorite features as I always liked to bring my walker with me when I was visiting friends and family. It is much easier than bringing along a highchair, plus it allows baby to move around and have a little fun while away from home. It’s a win/win for mom and baby!
