So often we are telling our children to just shake it off.
You’re hurt? Oh, just shake it off. It’ll be ok.
You are scared? Just shake it off. There aren’t any monsters under your bed.
Sound familiar?
Why don’t we tell ourselves to just shake it off?
Stressed? Oh, just shake it off. Things will get better.
Too often we look at things in the negative.

As you go through life, make this your goal, look at the donut, not the hole.
If only we could always shake it off.
The next time you are stressed. Get up, open the curtains or go outside. Turn the radio up and dance! Just shake it off. Do it and then come back and tell me if you didn’t feel so much better. I know I do.
Here is how I spend my days when it’s nice out and I need a little break from indoors. I can run around the yard with the boys and then get back to a little work in between when they are tired of me chasing them around (or I just need to catch my breathe.) 🙂
