I have boys and everyone knows that it’s hard to keep boys entertained for long. Let me tell you…when a boy gets bored…watch out! I’m not saying my boys are bad and that they act out, but I am telling you that when they get bored they try to find things (like picking on their brothers) that aren’t always in their best interest.

We are always happy when we find something that our boys love to play with that entertains them for longer than 5 minutes and keeps their interest for more than a day. It’s always disappointing when we spend money on toys and our boys toss them aside and never look at them again after the first day.

One toy that our boys have been passing back and forth (and maybe fighting over a bit) and that has not worn out its welcome is the GeoFlux. At first look the GeoFlux looks like a set of stainless steel rings, however it transforms into a 3-D sculpture that resembles a giant atom or an extra planetary orchid. Our boys have had a lot of fun putting their arms through the coils and spinning it up and down their arms.

We are always looking for small games and toys to take along with us when going on vacation or even overnight in the hotel. Like I said before, boys bore easily, so always being prepared is the key. I love that we can throw the sports set in the car for times when they might be needed.
