We were recently sent 4 cups to review from Kid Basix. I always love when a company is nice enough to send one of their products for each of my children to review! This company was great to work with and their products are just that as well…GREAT!

My oldest son received the Safe Sporter in the 16oz. size. (Color-Blue) He loves his cup and brings it to school with him to fill with water throughout the day. The schools allow the children to bring their own water bottles now, which I believe is a good idea with the flu season among us. I never really thought water fountains were that great for little kids and germs anyways. The best thing about this cup is that it is stainless steel so the water stays cold, and there are no toxins getting into my child’s water.

My 6 year old received the Safe Sporter in the 12oz size. (Color-Green) This size was great for him. He loves taking his new cup with him to school and has even told me that some of the other kids have asked where they can get one.

Our 4 year old also received the Safe Sporter inthe 12oz size.(Color-Blue) He loves his as well and likes to take it with him when we are in the car or going to Grandma and Grandpa’s house.

My 18 month old received the Safe Sippy2. This cup is actually quite neat as it is a transitional cup. There is a stopper that you can put in the cup to make it a sippy cup and there is also a straw that you can put in the cup that transitions the cup to a straw cup. My son was actually a little confused when I tried to do one and then the other, which I can understand since you have to tip the cup up with the stopper in it and hold it down when using it with the straw. However, the cup is actually meant to be used as a sippy when they are younger and then you can start using the straw when they are a little older and ready for the straw. I am like many other mothers who have bought a lot of different cups to try for my little one in hopes that they would love them only to find that they did not. Ilove this cup because while my little guy didn’t care much for the sippy part with the stopper, he absolutely loves the straw cup! I’m so glad we were able to sample this cup because it is actually now my son’s favorite cup to drink from, and like the others it is stainless steel and his drinks stay cold!
