Let The Journey Begin by Max Lucado

I could never get tired of reading books by Max Lucado. I know I’m always saying that it’s hard for me to find time to read given the fact that I’m a busy mom with 5 boys, homschooling (although we are almost all out for the summer), running an online boutique and with 2 blogs, but when a Max Lucado book shows up at my doorstep I can not wait to rip it out of the packaging it came in!

Let the Journey Begin showed up at just the right time in my life (God has such an awesome way at doing this. His timing is so perfect in every way).

My family has been going through some struggles and some changes in our life. We’ve had a lot of uncertainties and decisions to make lately. As I was reading the back cover of the book, I was getting excited for my new adventures, rather than feeling overwhelmed and unsure.

The book took me a little longer to read than the others, however it was simply because I took my time. This book was such an easy read, but it was dividing into such nice little sections (like daily readings) that I was able to read a bit in between my busy schedule and then come back to it the next time I had some free time.
