How many times have you found yourself getting upset because your children were making a mess? Oh, I’m right there with you! I’m not even going to try to pretend that I’m the perfect parent or that little things don’t bother me—especially messes, those are really hard to overlook. However, I will say that I’ve recently had a lot of time to sit and think about things. I guess I have sort of been pondering the things in my life. Thinking about what is important and what really needs my time and attention. In all of this pondering and deep thought I’ve always come up with one thing…my kids, they are always deserving of my time and my attention. No matter how old they are, they are always deserving of “ME”.
And this is why I have decided to step back a little from some of the other things that have been boggling my life down a bit. Hey, you may actually see me blogging a little more now. (I hope so, anyway! I truly love to write and really hope to get this site back to one that you all can enjoy to follow).
And from this point forward we will be sharing truth…sometimes it might be a messy fort in the living room, or maybe mud tracks through the house…
