It is so funny (not sure I should really say funny, but we’ll go with that now and you all can come up with a better word for me later) how the mind of a little boy (or even a Big Boy!) works.
I have always said that if there was a BIG red button in front of a boy that said DO NOT PUSH, he would have to push it just to see what would happen.
It happens around here all of the time. Like this morning when my husband touched up a wall in our bathroom. I state, Do NOT touch the newly painted wall. What does our youngest do? He runs in and starts touching all of the walls! Yep, he had to find out which wall was newly painted and see for himself that we actually painted it.
I’m not surprised that he did this. Nope, not one bit.
As a matter of fact, his brothers have been doing this for as long as I can remember. I say, I just mopped the dining room floor, don’t run through the house and be careful when you come into the dining room. What do they do? They run through the dining room and fall on their butts! Never fails!
I say, don’t touch that plant, it has stickers on it and will hurt you. What do they do? They touch the plant and then complain that they are hurt. WHY????
It must just be in the male nature!
Gotta Love them!
