I chased the boys around the yard with my camera again today when they got home from school. They are really getting tired of me doing this, but I just can’t help myself! I find that you get some of the best photos when they are not posed or planned. I tend to get the most pics of the baby because I can keep up with him better than an of the other boys. Before too long though I’m sure he will be able to outrun me too! ha ha!
I think after chasing them around with the camera for a while they just started to pretend I wasn’t even there. It was a lot of fun watching them scramble around the yard, climb trees, lift rocks to look for bugs, and run around without a care in the world. Oh how great it would be to live stress free!
I’m sorry, I know it’s a little gross, but the boys really wanted me to take a pic of today’s bug collection. It is very normal around our house to see a container filled with some sort of living creatures. The boys are such animal lovers!
The preschool that my 4 year old goes to is in the elementary school building (they rent a room there.) Today when I went to drop my 4 year old off at preschool we saw my 6 year old in the hallway with his Kindergarten class. They were lined up waiting for a few kids to finish in the restroom so they could head to the library to pick out some new books. They looked so cute standing there in their little lines. Of course when I saw my little guy standing there I waved and said Hi! Well evidentally even in Kindergarten it’s just not cool for Mommy to say Hi! Really? Am I that uncool? I’m going to tell myself that he was just being shy and that Mommy is really the coolest Mom ever!
