I decided to take the boys to town the other day for lunch. They were so excited! They were rushing around the house picking all of their toys up and getting ready so they could get their kids meal! It’s funny how excited they get about that little toy in the bottom of the box.
We have about a 20 minute drive to get to the town with all of the restaurants since we live so far out in the boonies. It was a beautiful day, unlike today-which is rainy and COLD, so we decided to take the road by the lake so we could enjoy the sun shining down on the lake. The boys love doing this!
I turn off of the main road onto the road by the lake and I hear my 4 year old yell “Mommy, look there’s a BOOBY!” I’m like-Huh? What? A booby? At this point I’m really hoping I’m not going to turn my head and see some lady with her chest exposed.
That’s when my 6 year old says “It’s a Buoy Mom, not a Booby!”
Boy was I relieved!
My oldest son got an A+ on a project he completed at school not long ago. He was invited to attend the Technology Fair at school. This is the first time we have ever been to one of these, so I’m not real sure what to expect, but we are excited about going and seeing all that the kids have to show us! They asked that the kids wear dress slacks and of course my son has grown out of all of his! He also didn’t have any dress shoes that fit him, so I went shopping over the weekend and picked some up. I just hate that he will probably only wear the shoes and possibly the pants this one time. We don’t have to dress up a lot in the summer, unless of course we have a wedding to attend, and by the time they usually need to dress up they have already outgrown the clothes from the last occasion. Go figure!

Before I go I wanted to toss a couple more blog name suggestions at you all. I was hoping to get a blog name figured out before my baby is here (or at least have an idea) because I’m sure we are going to be super busy once the baby is born. I was thinking that if I have a girl I may just want to stick with something like…
RaisingMy5 or something along this line. I don’t think it would be hard to remember and wouldn’t change the name of my blog a ton.
I would love to hear all of your suggestions! If it’s a boy it will probably just change to RaisingMy5Sons, but what do you think I should change it to if we have a girl? Thanks!
