I figured it was about time I update you all on my Shaklee Cinch Weight Loss Journey. It has been two months already and the time sure has flown by. Typically when I’m on a diet I have already given up by this time. I am so excited with the results I am seeing from the Cinch Inch Loss plan, and I really don’t feel like I’m on a diet. You know, I don’t have the typical hunger pains, moodiness and the feeling that all I can think about is food. Not only am I feeling full, but I’m also feeling energized!
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m human and I slip up every now and again. As a matter of fact, I want to be honest with you all and let you in on my secret of how I am staying on track and losing those inches.
Here’s the secret…
I give in to temptation!
That’s right.
If I’m craving something, I give in, but I know when to stop. I give myself a little temptation here and there and then I walk away. This allows me to feel like I am treating myself and not like I’m depriving or punishing myself. Being on a diet does not have to be like a punishment. It really needs to be a lifestyle change. Most of us go on diets because we want to be healthier and of course because we want to take off pounds. We typically fall off of the bandwagon because we are tired of giving up all of the things we love. Why do we do this to ourselves? Don’t give up everything you love. Treat yourself every now and then. I always say that I can eat a small piece of cake at the birthday party because I know I can go home and do some jumping jacks and squats to make up for it. It’s actually pretty simple.
So, in this week’s video I wanted to give you all a quick glimpse of how my pants are fitting.
It really is time for a new wardrobe.

I’ll admit that I cheat once in a while too. But I always do something afterwards!

It’s only human to give into temptation every now and again. I feel that if I never gave into that temptation I would feel like I was missing out and I would have given up for good. And by the way Jackie—you are doing wonderful yourself!!! π

AMAZING!! I just started this program, I’m 3 days in and I LOVE it already! It’s SO encouraging to see your great progress in just two months! So encouraging!!
May I ask what you are doing for workouts, and how often?
Mandee says
Awesome! Feel free to stop by anytime! I would love to have a Cinch buddy and it’s always great when you have support! Keep me posted on your inches lost and so forth. π As for working out—I do not have a gym membership or workout equipment. I do squats and lunges a few times a week and then I simply dance around my house. I hula hoop without a hula hoop (if that makes sense–like you would when doing the Wii workout), I try to do step aerobics, but not with a video or anything, just on a step in my home. I don’t do these on a regular basis though, and I do like cha cha moves. That’s pretty much it! Dancing is fun and I don’t get bored with it and lunges and squats don’t take long. π Good luck and keep me posted! I’m here if you need ANYTHING π
laura gauthier says
Wow! That’s even more encouraging, lol. I was afraid you were going to say you’re in the gym an hour or more every day! I’m walking 3-5 times a week, and occasionally doing some yoga-ish stuff:) I will definitely continue to watch your journey and will be glad to share mine as well. Thanks so much for sharing your experience!
Mandee says
You are very welcome! And if you ever need anything please don’t hesitate to reach out! I love changing up my shakes too, be sure to experiment with them–it’s fun and keeps things interesting! My fave is adding sugar free coffee creamer (not much), coffee, and crushed ice. Yummy!
