When I was growing up I was such a girly girl. I loved wearing pretty dresses and makeup and I always thought I would be a Beautician one day—or a ballerina! ha ha! I started having boys and it changed me…a bit, but I’m still that girly girl deep down and I still love a cute handbag, stylish shoes and an adorable dress just as much as the next girly girl.
Over the weekend I was asked to do hair for a friend of mine’s daughter for homecoming. I was excited, but a little nervous since it had been so long since I had done this—boys don’t need much done to their hair, you know? She ended up looking beautiful, but it wasn’t just the hair. The dress she was wearing was amazing! It got me thinking…what do dresses look like these days? Styles have changed so much since the day I was attending a school dance.
