I don’t typically review books, although I love to read I have a hard time finding the time to sit down and finish a book from cover to cover. When Victoria contacted me about reviewing her book I was intrigued and thought I would give it a shot. I feel terrible though because it has taken me forever to get the review/giveaway up for you all. It’s not because the book didn’t interest me or grab my attention, but being a Mom of 4 boys with a baby on the way, sports, pets, doctor’s appointments, and not to mention my husband has been traveling a lot I have been having a hard time finding time to sit and read.
Never fear…I did get to read and I do have a review/giveaway for you….

In Bernovem, Kristina not only fits in, she’s honored as “the chosen one” the only one who can release the land from Queen Sentiz’s control. But it’s not as simple as it seems. To save Bernovem, she must place the gift she was given, the famous “Magic Warble”, in its final resting place. She must travel through the deep forest, climb a treacherous mountain, and risk capture by the queen’s “zelbocks” before she reaches her destination. Guided by her new fairy friends, Clover and Looper and by Prince Werrien, a teenage boy, as well as an assortment of other characters, Kristina sets off on a perilous journey that not only tests her strength, but her heart.
The book was a good read. I am actually hoping that I can get my 9, almost 10 year old son to sit still long enough to read it himself. I had started off reading it to him, and he was very interested, however it is hard to get him to slow down long enough to sit for a book, but I’m thinking maybe this winter when we can’t play outside and the weather isn’t so nice I can get him to pick up the book.
The book is a magical adventure and would be great for any teenager, as well as adults. I really don’t have anything negative to say, other than I wish I could have sat down and read this front to back without taking such a long period of time….not the author’s fault!
Great read, especially if you are into things like Harry Potter or other magical adventures.
