So my 7 year old comes walking towards the family room. He stops at the doorway and starts to knock on the wall. Ok, he must want me to say “Come in”, right? So, I say Come in! He looks at me and says “Mom, I’m a ROBBER! You don’t tell robbers to come in!”
I’m like, “Oh, I didn’t realize you were a robber.”
He says, “Really Mom, I have a mask on (a red apple sack—you know, the one with the holes all over in it), I have a bandana, and I have hand cuffs on my FEET!
Now I’m laughing!
“Why do you have handcuffs on your feet?” I ask.
“Mom! I’m a ROBBER!”
So, I do what any Mom would do and I tackle the robber to the ground and sit on him!
Boy was that robber surprised!
