Moms Sometimes Need to be Reassured

What gives you the reassurance that you are doing ok as a Mom?

Do you remember those days when everything was new to you? The days when you desperately wished your baby had come with a manual? Oh, those were the days. Or, maybe you are a new Mom and you are going through the times of the unknown as we speak? I’m here to tell you that it’s ok. It’s ok to question yourself and to wish there was some sort of manual, somewhere to turn for the answers, the answers that you know are right and not just a guess.

Sure, you can turn to the internet, but do you believe everything you find on the internet? It’s like that commercial with the French model, who clearly is not a French model. If we were naive and believed everything we heard all of the time, we would all be in a world of trouble.

You know what gives me the reassurance that I am doing “OK” as a Mom? It’s the fact that my children are healthy and happy, my spouse and I agree on things and others take notice. When someone you love tells you that you are doing a good job, it certainly helps  your confidence and makes you feel like things are definitely going to be alright. There was a time when I was unsure, as there probably was for most of us, but we learn from experience and we follow our hearts…that’s what Moms do.

They are working this year with more than 10,000+ children, parents and caregivers to help provide a brighter future through early childhood education.

Research shows that early education with prenatal moms and babies at birth is critical to a child’s healthy advancement. With the brand’s support of Save the Children’s Early Steps to School Success program, they are helping to provide moms with the skills and knowledge to successfully and confidentially support their child’s growth from pregnancy until school aged.

Simply create a digital Care Card at JOHNSON’S Baby Cares Facebook page, and then send it to a special mom in your life through Facebook. For every card sent, shared or liked, JOHNSON’S Baby Cares will donate $1.00 to Save the Children up to $150,000, to benefit early childhood education.
