Motorola 7” Large Screen Baby Monitor (Motorola MBP867)
You might be wondering why my family would be interested in a baby monitor given that we do not have any more babies in our home. Let me explain, we have a son that sleep walks quite often. For years I felt like I never got any sleep at all because I was always worried about him wandering through the house. I was afraid I wouldn’t hear him and he might trip and fall or try to run up and down the steps (he often does this–sleep running, and he does like to travel the stairs when he’s in a slumber). It’s rather scary, and that’s why we decided to get a baby monitor. For a while I simply used a regular old monitor, but that still didn’t give me the peace of mind I needed. I actually think I was up more with the regular monitor because I had to get up and check on the kids with every little sound I heard.
The Motorola 7″ Large Screen Baby Monitor has been a real “sleep” saver for me. Seriously, I’m sleeping like a teenager again! Okay, maybe not quite that good, but I am getting my sleep and feeling so much more rested now that I don’t have to worry about the sleep walking. When my son first heard about us setting up a monitor he was a little worried. He didn’t like the idea of a camera being on him all night long. Who can blame him? So, we decided to put the monitor in the hallway. This has allowed both of us the peace of mind, yet we still have the home monitored. I’ve recommended this monitor to many of my friends with newborns and with babies on the way because I just can’t see how one could go without one of these! How did I ever get any sleep when my newborns were little? Oh, that’s right…I didn’t, because I didn’t have my very own 7″ Large Screen Baby Monitor! I do now though!
