You, you’re scared to take a step, afraid to see what’s next

So you wait ’til you think it’s safe to move.

You tend to think too much,

You need to open up your heart to see where He is leading.

These lyrics really spoke to me. The Audio Adrenaline  Kings & Queens CD could not have come at a more perfect time in my life. You see, when my husband was given a job offer in another state not only was I scared to take a step, afraid to see what’s next, but I was so afraid to move. After much prayer and consideration we realized that God’s plans are for the good (we already knew that) and that this job would be better for our family, so he accepted the job. Within days of accepting the job we had someone we know offer to buy our house. Wow, it was all happening so fast, but we were excited (there were some nerves thrown in there as well). We were MOVING!

And then…the sale on the house fell through. All of a sudden things were starting to seem unclear. We were hit with a few unexpected twists and our plan was now uncertain. I should say our future was uncertain. It was during my time of uncertainty that I received this CD. I’ve heard this song a thousand times, but when I put it into my CD player this time it touched me.

With hands in the air and tears streaming down my face I praised Him from my living room. It was in THAT moment that I knew He had this and everything was going to be just fine.

You see, I had to lose control and let go. God’s got this and it was all a part of a plan much bigger than I could ever come up with. And you know, I’m content. I’m content knowing that He’s leading and all I have to do is follow. That’s all we really have to do.

I’m so thankful to have been given the chance to review this CD at a time when I really needed to hear these lyrics. God knows what we needs and He is always sure to provide just that.

If you’ve never heard Audio Adrenaline I highly recommend you check out the Kings & Queens CD. I hope it will touch you as it has touched me. Kings & Queens is a fantastic song!!
