When you have 5 boys you are either pulling your hair out, scratching your head in wonder, freaking out and trying to figure if the situation is something you can handle, the doctor can handle, or if you need to go to the ER, OR you are laughing your butt off.
Today the boys have been so funny!
My hubby was getting ready to go to the hardware store earlier and all of the boys jumped up and said they wanted to go. The boys love tagging along with Dad when he has to go out. My husband looks at my oldest son and says “C, your clothes don’t even match.” He looks back at my husband and says,
“Dad, we’re going to the hardware store, not church.”
I seriously died laughing.
He did have a point. ha ha!
A bit earlier today I was sitting here nursing the baby (which seems to be the only thing I accomplish in a days time, but that’s ok because I know I am giving my baby a good start.) back to what I was saying…I am sitting here nursing the baby and I look up and my 4 (almost 5) year old is running through the hallway as fast as he can pulling a blanket behind him. On that blanket is my 2 year old son laying with his arms above his head like he’s relaxing.
Seriously, they can find fun in anything!
Oh to be young again!
A couple of days ago the boys asked if they could help clean.
What, you want to help clean? Of course you can help me clean!
So, my oldest 2 boys (Yes, I supervised) started to wash my windows.
I’m not sure why they wanted to wash the windows, and I’m sure they looked worse after being washed by 2 little boys, but they wanted to help, and that’s what they wanted to do. My bottle of cleaner didn’t have much in it when they started and they continued to use it until it was gone.
When they finished and there was no spray left they went into the bathroom and washed the bottle out with soap and water…what a mess they left!
They then filled the bottle with water and started to head outside.
I see them going out and ask what they are going.
“We are going out to fight the wasps Mom”
Yikes, really?
They really just washed my windows for me so that they could have the spray bottle to fight the wasps! Crazy boys!
What will they come up with next?
