Life is definitely full of uncertainties. Oftentimes we will find ourselves questioning decisions that we once thought were for the best. Things change, people change, the world changes. One thing I have learned is to listen to the heart. If there is something weighing on your heart, something you can’t quit thinking about and you long for…you must not give up on it. Sometimes God places things on our heart and he continues to speak to us, however being stubborn, or whatever we may be, we tend to try to do things ourselves and we look in other directions…even though the answer is right in front of us.
Our family is currently going through a lot of changes. You may remember my post about switching schools. I knew God was leading us to the Christian school that our children attended over the past couple of years. We even sold our house and moved closer to the school. It was a big deal for our family, but we knew in our hearts that we were only doing what God wanted us to do. We attended the school for 2 school years and then we started feeling as though God was leading us in other directions. I really started feeling strongly about homeschooling (something I have always considered, but my husband had been reluctant about). This year we have decided to give it a go! That’s right, not only will this Momma be blogging about the typical stuff, but you are going to hear all about our ups and downs with homeschooling. Our oldest 3 will be doing an online Christian school program while I will be teaching the youngest two using the ABEKA curriculum (something they are already accustom to).
There are many changes taking place in our life, however we feel confident and happy in knowing that we have peace and God is leading us. The peace you feel when you listen is such a wonderful feeling.
Won’t you join us on this journey we are about to embark on?

Thanks so much Kara! I’m getting excited! Yes, I’m stressed (like we talked about) but I’m pretty excited to begin this new journey! I’m sure I’ll be picking your brain from time to time! ๐
