What I am most looking forward to in the New Year is spending time with my Dad. So thankful he is still here.. he had a heart attack last year and has been working really hard at staying healthy. This year will be quite a change .. a HUGE improvement from last year!! Excited to do things we weren’t able to do before! 🙂

Continuing to keep my mom’s Alzheimer’s at bay for as long as I can have her in my home…for at least “1” more year. She is now 82 and fortunately it is not an aggressive form. But we are loosing more of her all of the time and at some point she will physically need more care than I can give her.

But for now I hope for another year. 🙂

(I’m looking forward to and BELIEVE THIS) My new years resolution is to beat cancer and be back on my feet towards my working and rebuilding my life. It has been real hard for the past 3 years struggling day to day. Being that the endocrine system and thyroid are great handicapped, I have been unable to work and very lethargic. Medical insurance isn’t covering enough of my needs and getting medicine is completely out of pocket. I hope that I will be experiencing God’s healing; and also become prosperous in my talents, destroying any roadblocks that I may have, in order to become self sufficient and sustaining to myself and others around me.

Thank you again for this opportunity, whoever deserves this money the most good luck to all In advance!

I like to keep things as simple each day as possible as I care for my mother with Alzheimer’s and would rather cherish each day with her rather than speed thru this year. The longer with her the better. She’s always been my bestest friend and I try to be hers so she won’t forget everything. 🙂

My doctors and specialist here are finally willing to admit they don’t know what to do so I’m going to the Mayo Clinic in a couple months! Strange thing to be excited about, I know, but when you spend every minute of every day in the kind of pain that makes you want to chew your arms and legs off, getting answers and the possibility of relief is an amazing thought! Also, my disability hearing is in February so I’m super excited a.k.a. financially desperate for that. I’ve been waiting 20 months (which is actually pretty fast, but not considering how bad off I am). Lots to be hopeful for! This is why I wake up every day with a smile on my face no matter how bad it gets…a positive attitude will always lead to a positive outcome, sometimes it just takes a while to catch up. 🙂

Being on a dependent visa and missing out on all the sudden shopping sprees and the urge to splurge, it’d be great to win a giftcard and buy myself something without thinking how much its gonna cost or wonder how it would affect our monthly budget! :/
