It is important that I feed my family a well balanced diet. From the time they were little we have always been sure to incorporate dairy into their diet. Growing up my father always had us drink a glass of milk with our meal. It will make you strong and grow, he would say. Today we are somewhat carrying on the same traditions as we incorporate dairy into our children’s daily diet.
Some of our boys’ favorite dairy products include yogurt, milk and cheese (string cheese is a big hit). During the summer months we also enjoy ice cream—yum!
The National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association (NFRA) is showing the delicious goodness that can come from the refrigerated dairy aisle—and they are passionate about these healthy dairy foods! The foods that are found in the refrigerated dairy aisle are really a lot more than just kitchen staples. It really is the place to go for mealtime inspiration. There are so many yummy options from milk and cheese to juice and dips to potatoes and cookie/pastry dough. I love that refrigerated foods are made from real and simple farm grown ingredients and they fit perfectly into our healthy lifestyle.
The National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association (NFRA) has partnered with chef and culinary exper, Aida Mollenkamp, to show Americans the creative culinary possibilities that can come from foods in the refrigerated dairy aisle.
