Wow, we have been sick a lot this last couple of weeks. I think it all started shortly after Easter. One of the boys came down with something and then we pretty much all took our turn with it. We were all finally better and enjoying our health when another sick bug decided to make it’s way into our house.
My 5 year old got sick last Wed. and just finally got over it. I knew that wasn’t the end of the ugly sickness though because we can never get lucky enough to ever have a sickness enter and leave our home so quickly. Saturday our 2 (almost 3-his birthday is next Friday!) year old started to throw up. The poor guy! He just kept throwing everything up, but immediately after getting sick he wanted something else to drink. I’m sure glad he continued to drink fluids though and didn’t end up dehydrated. He hasn’t gotten sick once today, but slept almost all day, which was probably the best thing he could have done.
My baby is taking his first set of antibiotics now. He was teething last week when I took him into the doctor. When the doctor looked into his mouth he noticed his throat was red and now he has a cold in both eyes and a runny nose. We were given the prescription and told only to fill it and use it if he got worse over the weekend. I ended up filling it and am glad I did because he got worse over the weekend. (Isn’t that how it always works?)
The other boys are doing fine (and I’m knocking on wood as I’m typing this!)
We have been so busy lately that I have been having a hard time getting caught up on the blog and all of the review products I have. I promise that I am going to try my hardest!
I took photos at a wedding yesterday and had a lot of fun with that. I hope to post a couple of them for you all to see soon. I have a ton of editing and stuff left to do, which is also going to take up a good bit of my time. (I promise I will find time to draw winners very soon!)
2 of the boys are playing baseball and we have games every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday! I keep saying that I can’t imagine what it is going to be like when ALL 5 boys are playing sports at once! And I thought my life was busy now!
It’s late, it’s been a busy weekend and the kids are all sound asleep.
