No Ordinary Burger Contest!

One thing I look forward to when the weather gets nice is cooking out on the grill. Not only does it give me a break from doing all of the work in the kitchen (my husband does all of the grill work) but it also keeps my house cooler and everything seems so much yummier when cooked out on the grill.

I’m not going to lie, we were pretty excited to try the new Johnsoville Brat and Italian Sausage Patties. I like to switch up our meals from time to time and this really helped. So what did we think of these new burgers? We thought they were delicious! Our favorites were the Brat Patties. The Italian Sausage Patties were yummy as well, but the Brat Patties really won over my whole family. We will definitely be purchasing these again and again!

How did we make our burgers?

Some of us put relish and mustard on ours while others put ketchup on them. I prefer mine topped with mustard and Amish made Chow Chow. Maybe you haven’t heard of it, but it’s like a sweet relish, but not sweet like sweet pickles. It’s sort of hard to describe the taste. I purchased ours at a local flea market and will continue to purchase it to top off my brat patties!  Another way I enjoy my brat patties is with sweet/hot mustard and jalapenos on top of pepper jack cheese. Yummy! Is your mouth watering yet? Mine is!
