A little about our weekend…
The weekend was actually pretty nice. It was in the 60’s all weekend and we played outdoors a lot.
On Friday I went to the grocery store. I didn’t do so well this time. I thought I had coupons for a bunch of things and didn’t end up bringing them…darnit! My 6 year old went with me. I love when he tags along because he is such a big helper! He pushes his own little shopping cart and is such a good boy! I am always sure to reward him when we are all done, but this time I was in such a hurry to get out of the store I completely forgot to get him a treat, and believe it or not he didn’t even remind me! I felt terrible and will have to make it up to him.
While we were at the grocery my hubby and other boys were at Grandma and Grandpa’s house visisting (my in-laws.)They had a lot of fun hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa for a bit. Unfortunately I didn’t get to visit a whole lot since we had to leave as soon as we got back so our groceries wouldn’t go bad.
Saturday my sister and her hubby and 2 boys came over. We ordered pizzas and the kids played while the adults conversed and played a little cards. My boys always love when their cousins come over to play with them! Of course by the end of the night we had a big mess to clean up, but the fun that they had was well worth it! You wouldn’t believe what 6 boys can do in a little bit of time though!
We rented movies the other night and finally had a chance to sit down and watch them today. If you haven’t seen The Proposal I think it’s a pretty good movie. (That’s my honest review for the day. 🙂
We played outdoors quite a bit today and one of the neighbor boys came over to play as well. When it started getting dark out (I hate that it gets dark so early now!) we played hide-n-seek indoors. The boys love playing that and it’s so funny to see the places that they choose to hide!
That is pretty much our weekend. It was nice and relaxing. 🙂
