Peter and the Wolf In Hollywood App Review

So, I decided to do this review a little differently. Normally I would tell my kiddos that I wanted them to review an app, we would download said app and then they would give me their thoughts. This time, I thought I would just surprise them with the app. I downloaded the app onto their iPads while they were sleeping. The next morning they noticed the Peter and the Wolf in Hollywood app on their iPads and started playing. I watched them play this app for the longest time without even questioning where it came from. It wasn’t until I poked my head into the room and asked what they were up to that someone said, “We have this fun new app on our iPads and it’s really fun!” (Yes, they really said fun several times!)

With that being said, I’m sure you can see where this is going…they loved the app! I wasn’t sure how they were going to react to it, and I’m really glad I was able to sneak it into their playtime.

So, what is the Peter and the Wolf in Hollywood app?

This app is a revival of the classic Peter and the Wolf tale and it’s brought to you by acclaimed production company, Giants Are Small. It’s really a pretty fun video app. In this version Peter goes to Hollywood to meet his hippie grandfather (my kids got a kick out of this!) There is classical music throughout and Peter, along with the other characters in the movie book are narrated and brought to life by Rock n’ Roll legend, Alice Cooper! How cool is THAT!?
