In an effort to eat healthier we have quit buying boxed and prepackaged foods (for the most part). The other day my boys wanted brownies so we whipped some up!
INGREDIENTS:
1 Cup Butter
1 Cup White Sugar
2 Eggs
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1/3 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/2 Cup All-Purpose Flour
1/4 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Baking Powder
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat over to 350° F
Grease and flour an 8-inch square pan
Melt 1/2 cup of butter. Stir in eggs, sugar and vanilla. Beat in cocoa powder, flour, salt and baking powder. Spread batter into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated over for 25 to 30 minutes or until fork comes out clean. Do not overcook.
Enjoy!

I make a lot of brownies for hubby’s work but I purchase boxes. This recipe is easy and will taste better than Betty Crocker!

With as often as we make brownies, I need to try this. I have only bought boxed brownie mixes for the kids, didn’t know how to make them myself. Need to pin, thank you.
