Remember all of that cleaning we did yesterday? Why did we bother? Today my sister needed a sitter for a couple of hours. I don’t mind watching her kids because they are so adorable and the boys love playing with them! She has 2 little boys ages 4 and 2. The first part of the day started off quite gloomy, so the kids played inside for a while. By the time my sister got back from her appointment this is what the playroom floor looked like! You wouldn’t believe what 6 BOYS can do in just 5 minutes!
By about noon the sun was starting to come out and things were drying up, so after lunch we headed outdoors for a while. Some of the neighbor kids (2 boys and a girl) came over to play as well. I did manage to get a pic of all of them (this one I will admit was posed as I wanted the shot of everyone to be from behind.) Can you imagine what it would have looked like if all of these kids would have been in the playroom this morning!? It was pretty hard to get 9 kids to stand still even for a second so I could take a pic! As you can see from the pic they all love Star Wars!
Here are a few more pictures of the kids that I just couldn’t resist sharing. My cute little 2 year old nephew was chasing all of the bigger boys with a baseball. It was SO funny! I know, I really shouldn’t laugh, however he never did throw the ball, but he sure did make the older boys run, and fast!
Toot toot chugga chugga big red car! (These are pics of my baby and (almost)4 year old in their big red car. The kids all love this car! It’s a little peddle car we picked up a few years ago. Lots of fun!
We headed to the boy’s Grandma and Grandpa’s house to visit tonight. They had a nice visit, but were nice and tired by the time we got home! It has been a really long day!
I must talk about one more product that we have received as a gift (this is not an advertisement by any means.) Last year one of the boys received a fishing pole for their birthday. This isn’t any regular fishing pole though. It’s one of those poles that has this big bobber type thing that you shoot out like you are shooting a gun! You have to load the bobber and cock the thing and everything! It’s actually pretty neat, if you are fishing! First I should say that I am pretty strict when it comes to the toys the kids play with. I don’t let them play with guns or knives or anything that promotes killing. That being said, I’m sure the boys would love to own a bunch of toy guns. Well today I go outside to see them cocking, loading and firing the bobber at each other! The darn pole works just like a gun! I was pretty surprised to see the boys out in the yard shooting each other with a fishing pole! Of course, I had to take the pole away, and they weren’t very happy, but the darn thing hurts when it hits you! It’s not like those little nurf guns (that I do allow them to have.)
