Rufus and Ryan are a new series of board books for kids ages 2 to 5, and we were sent a free copy of, Rufus and Ryan Go to Church to review.
In the book 4 year old Ryan brings his stuffed monkey to a Sunday morning church service with him. Throughout the service Ryan guides Rufus through the service, telling him when to pray, sing and when it’s time to be quiet. We thought this was a very cute book and were happy to have received it for review. Our 3 and 5 year old boys absolutely loved the book and often ask to have it read to them at night before bed. Our family enjoys books that introduce the concepts of Christianity to children at a young age, and the Rufus and Ryan series does a great job of this!
Rufus and Ryan board books are from Candy Cane Press, an imprint of Ideals Publications, and they are great for children as well as their parents. These faith-based board books make great gifts (think about this as Christmas is approaching—and Easter too!) I feel they would be a great addition to the church nursery, daycare, Sunday school and pre-school or Kindergarten classes.
