I feel like we could all use a few tips to save a little time, so we are going to share our favorite time saving tips with you today, and we would love to hear yours.
Time Saving Tips…
1.) Plan your week. Use a planner, or just jot your ideas down on a piece of paper. People that write down everything that they plan to do tend to get more of those things done.
2.) Make a List. This is similar to the first tip, however instead of planning your week we are talking about planning your trips to the store and so forth. If you go into a store without a list chances are you are going to spend more time searching for items and you may even forget a few items, which will in turn lead you back to the store at a later date…wasting time.
3.) Set hours. Those that have work to do, phone calls or appointments to make, or even housework to do will find this helpful. If you set hours to get your work done the chances of you getting the work done are much higher.
4.) Lay clothes out for the whole week (and iron if they need it). Our boys weight uniforms to school, and I like to lay a week’s worth of clothes out on Sunday nights, iron them and hang them in a designated spot in the closet. When the boys wake it makes it a lot easier on all of us. This definitely saves time.
5.) Plan meals in advance. This is definitely a great idea, and an even better idea is if you can cook the meals all in one day and freeze or refrigerate them. This will definitely save you a lot of time and energy, especially on those days when you feel like eating out because you just don’t want to cook. Not only will this save you time, but it will save you money!
