As a child I pretty much thought money grew on trees (not literally). I remember asking my mother for something and when she’d say that we didn’t have the money at the time, I would reply, “Just write a check”. I really did think that you could just write a check or swipe a credit card and the item would be yours. Of course, my mother would explain to me that this is not the way things worked and that money really doesn’t grow on trees. I think it’s important to teach our children about money and where it comes from. I also think it’s important to teach our children how to save. I think I do a pretty good job at showing my children ways that we can cut costs with coupons and deal sites as well as ways that we can build our savings accounts.

I haven’t personally used groupon before, but my son has many times to save money. Didn’t know they had an app now thought it was only on line. They are many different stores that can used now and I am sure they will be adding more all the time.

No one will ever accuse me of being a deal seeker, but I do make sure I always hit up Groupon before I buy anything. I can usually find a deal on it and find it fast.

I am a Groupon fan. When I am thinking of taking a vacation or even just spending a night out on the town, I always turn to Groupon for savings on everything from meals to hotel rooms. I love their new Groupon coupon service too. So many ways to save.
