Don’t they look so cute like they are standing against the wall being punished? Nope, that’s not the case at all. They are actually showing off their new backpacks on the first day of school.
We got through our first week with no problems and everyone is adjusting very well to the new school. They love that it’s so small and everyone welcomed them with open arms. I couldn’t be happier that we chose to make the switch. Now I just hope we are able to sell our house and purchase another that is closer to the school before winter hits. (We are about 30 minutes–one way–from the new school right now.)
Speaking of houses, there is a house that has been on the market for some time now. I had glanced at it in the home fliers a couple of times, but there were too many things my husband just didn’t like about it, so we never went to look at it. The other day I was praying and asking for direction when all of a sudden this house came to my mind. I wasn’t sure why this house kept popping up, but I simply couldn’t quit thinking about it. My husband was away on a business trip, so I decided to go through the house by myself while the boys were in school. When I left I was excited, yet confused. There are quite a few things that I would want/need to change and there is a little work to be done. Plus, there are still the things that my husband had problems with, however I see so much potential and so much room for us to move in the yard that I can’t quit thinking about this house. So, my husband has agreed to go through the house with me tomorrow. I’m pretty excited, and so are the boys! We have decided to bring them along so we can get a little input and see what they think. We want the new home to be something that everyone likes.
I will keep you posted as to how the showing goes.
