Have you been wondering why I haven’t been posting my usual updates about my family?
This is why I have been so busy…
We bought an investment property in a nearby town and completely renovated it top to bottom. We had a contract on it shortly after listing it, however that fell through. We got another contract on it within a couple of weeks from the first contract falling through and are just waiting for them to give us a closing date.
In the meantime, we have decided to sell our house and move about 30 minutes away. We don’t really have any family where we live and most of our friends live at least 20-30 minutes from us. We don’t even have a store where we live! So, after much consideration we have decided to move.
The house we own has been in my family for over 40 years (my grandmother, then my mother and now me.) It was very outdated when we bought it. We have completely renovated it and while it will be sad to see the house go, we are excited!
I made a fun video to help sell the house. The program I used to make the video is Animoto. I tell you this because it really is an awesome program and I’m sure some of you might be interested in checking it out. With Animoto I have the option to add sound, photos, short video clips, text and can even change the way the photos are shown (background and so forth.) I love it!
And here is the video I made…
So, what do you think?
I promised photos of my kitchen about a year ago. Here you have them! I’ll post before/after later.

Nice home!! If you are using these pictures for advertising purposes I would suggest a few changes. The pictures in the photo are a little to vague. Not really showing the fool view of the rooms and living spaces. They are also a little to dark. I hope I get to have as nice of a home one day for me and my four boys.. lol. Family of six. One short from yours. God bless and Good luck!!

Thanks for the tips Bridgett! They don’t seem dark on my end, but I’ll check them out from my desktop to be sure. We can definitely use some better photos. I was just anxious to throw this together and get it out there. Thanks again!
