I buy stuff online all of the time. I actually think it’s really convenient to be able to sit at home and shop, especially since I have 5 boys! When we were looking for a new vehicle I did a lot of my shopping online. I would look online and then we would usually drive to the dealership to look at the vehicles in person. I have yet to purchase a vehicle that I have not actually seen in person, however I know quite a few people that have purchased vehicles on auction sites and classified sites online without even seeing them first.
I was really surprised to hear about these companies that handle the car shipping for you. I honestly thought that if I purchased a vehicle in another state I had to drive my vehicle all the way there to get the new vehicle and then my husband and I had to drive home in separate vehicles. (What a hassle!) Did you know that you can have a company handle your auto transport for you? If you are anything like me, the thought of that sounds great.
Since I love to bid on auction sites and I’m always about finding the best possible deal I can get I thought the concept of a bid style car transport service was sort of intriguing. AT Uship, one of the sites I was checking out, you can receive instant quotes, or auction-style bids from carriers with empty truck space. (They might as well take advantage of that space, and why not get a deal for yourself if they are already going your way?)
I want to know, have you ever purchased anything big, like a vehicle online?
Did you have it shipped to you, or did you drive the distance to pick it up yourself?
