Raising boys is a real adventure. I mean it, I really enjoy the new things that they teach me every day. I may be the teacher in the classroom, but these boys sure are teaching me a lot in life. Sounds funny? Maybe, but I’m serious. I love going on little adventures with these guys and I love seeing their faces light up when they create something that amazes them or when they learn something new.
(Dad is keeping score- such a fun father/son activity).
Recently our 2nd born joined a trap shooting team. I had no idea there was such a team in our area, so I was very interested to hear more about it. He’s already been to two competitions and his team (this is their first year doing this) scored 2nd place at both competitions! I’m such a proud Momma! As a matter of fact, my 12 year old hit over 160 out of 200! Not too bad considering he has NEVER shot trap until recently!
As a Momma, I’m so happy he has found something that he loves and I love that he’s making new friends and enjoying the sport. We are all excited for the upcoming competitions!
