I admit that I spend a little time researching things before I buy. I definitely dislike buying a product, getting it home and finding out that it really isn’t what I thought it was. I would much rather research the product, read some reviews and find some discount codes!
I love a great deal and love shopping online. In fact, standing in long lines at the mall gives me anxiety. While I love browsing the racks and finding great deals, I hate standing in line. I also hate when you buy a product in the store, go home to browse the net and find that same product, or something very similar for a fraction of what you paid for it. I’m often tempted to return the product and buy the cheaper one.
In today’s economy every dollar counts. Heck, even when the economy is booming, every dollar still counts. Why would you want to spend more when you don’t have to? My biggest piece of advice I could ever give someone is to spend a little extra time researching products before you buy them. Look online for discount codes, even if you do plan to shop in the store. Most of the time there will be a printable coupon that you can easily print, take with you to the store and use at checkout.
