Everyone knows that when it starts to get cooler outside the germs start to spread. As much as we like to try to keep from getting sick, at some point during the winter months, someone in our family is bound to contract an illness. We like to be prepared when the sick bug hits our house. If we aren’t prepared that darn bug can last forever—and I’m not exaggerating! With 7 of us under the same roof, breathing the same air, eating the same things, we can’t keep it contained to just one or two. The worst part is when the bug takes its’ good ol’ time to run its’ course through the house and the illness lasts more than a couple of weeks! We don’t want that, so we like to be prepared!
We use Pfizer Pediatric products in our household. The products we keep in our home include Children’s Advil®, Children’s Robitussin® and Children’s Dimetapp® – to tackle the ickiest of symptoms.
I love that we can ease those aches and pains, while reducing a child’s fever fast with Children’s Advil® Suspension. This is a great solution for kids as young as 2 and all the way up to age 11. It comes in several great-tasting flavors, including: Sugar-free Dye-free Berry, Bubble Gum, Grape, Blue Raspberry, Fruit and Dye-Free White Grape flavors. Do you have an infant? There is also an Infants’ Advil® White Grape, which provides unsurpassed fever relief (among OTC pain relievers) with a syringe for easy dosing for children 6-23 months.
Another great product, and one that is formulated just for kids is Children’s Robitussin® DM Day/Night Pack (Children’s Robitussin® Cough & Chest Congestion for ages 4+ and Children’s Robitussin® Nighttime Cough Long-Acting for ages 6+) non-drowsy daytime formula helps break up chest congestion, while the long-acting nighttime formula relieves coughs and runny noses to help kids get the rest they need.
Children’s Dimetapp® Cold & Cough for ages 6+ tackles a child’s most bothersome stuffy and runny noses, all while working to relieve coughs. The best part—my children actually like the grape tasting flavor! It’s always a bonus when they don’t mind swallowing their medicine!

We have used Children’s Dimetapp® Cold & Cough in my home previously. All of these products are definitely worthwhile to keep on hand.
