When you have a house full of little boys (like I do), or even if you only have one, you know how important it is to be tucked into bed safely at night. Our boys have all been into super heroes at one point in their life and Spider-Man has always been at the top of their list of super heroes!
It’s common for young children to be scared of the dark and to want comfort at bedtime. We have found with our children that there are some things we could do to make bedtime a little easier and a little less stressful for everyone in the house. I thought I would list a few below.
Better Bedtime Routine With Spider-Man:
#1- Find a special comfort object for your child. Since our boys love super heroes so much, we found that the Spider-Man Pillow Buddy made a great comfort toy for them at night. Not only is he super cuddly, but he’s a super hero, so who better to protect you and look over you while you sleep? Right?
#2- Find a fun bedding that your child loves. It might sound silly, but our boys really do enjoy sleeping in their beds more when they have fun bedding and accessories in their room. They actually look forward to sleeping on their Spider-Man Zippy Sack! I love that their bed always looks more put together as well—no more blankets thrown all over the room!
#3- Routine- Find a good routine that works for your family and stick to it. It’s much easier when a child knows what to expect. If we are always changing things it can be confusing to the child and they may end up over tired and cranky—and they may fight their sleep. It’s no fun for anyone. We like to set a bath, storytime, bedtime routine. It works great for everyone in the house! (We received the Spider-Man hooded beach poncho to review and our boys love using this fun towel at night before bed!)
#4- Make adjustments—if your child seems like he/she might be a little scared of the dark, add a small night light to his/her room. If they are afraid of monsters under the bed you can make your own monster spray (it’s really simple, just use a spray bottle and add some water and maybe a couple drops of essential oil or some other safe scented product). Spray the closets and under the bed before your little one goes to bed and he/she will feel comforted. I like to use Lavender essential oil as it is a nice calming/soothing oil and it helps relax them.
If you follow these steps your little ones should be in a great bedtime routine in no time!

I love Spider Man. That is a cut comforter.
