The Stocked Kitchen Review & GIVEAWAY!!!

The Stocked Kitchen Cookbook is a great, time-saving cookbook. We were happy to be sent a review copy of this book. Every day I sit and contemplate what to make for supper. Some days I am thinking about what to make for supper early in the morning before the kids are even out of bed. This is something that is always running through my head on a daily basis. I guess you could say that I sometimes think of it as a chore trying to come up with a meal every day and then having to go to store for special ingredients and spending the time to prepare the meal.

Who has time for all of that? Most of us don’t, however we make the time because we have to.

I was very impressed with the cookbook, The Stocked Kitchen because they make meal planning and shopping for the groceries simple.

(A busy Mom of 5 can say that simple and saving me time is always welcomed!)

Don’t we all want to make the process of feeding our families easier?

I hate getting discouraged and relying on pre-packaged foods because they are quick. These foods are not good for my family and I know this. Many cookbooks claim to be Quick and Simple or Cheap and Easy however, recipes that may be quick often require random ingredients that you will never use again and have to search for in the stores. I hate when my pantry is cluttered with things that I really don’t need.

Sarah Kallio and Stacey Krastins wanted to change this process and that is why they wrote the cookbook, The Stocked Kitchen. The Stocked Kitchen is the first complete meal creation system with only one standard list of groceries. They state that if your kitchen is “Stocked” with the ingredients on their list you will always have what you need to create any of the 300 delicious recipes found in their book.
