Today was a beautiful day. I still can’t believe it was like 60 degrees in OHIO on a January day! It just blows my mind! However, I’m quite certain that in a couple of days we will be experiencing freezing temps with rain or something crazy, because that’s how Ohio is. Drastic weather changes are totally normal for us.
On Sundays we visit my sister and her family. We always do a bible study together and we enjoy a nice meal. The kids play and the adults enjoy the company of one another. Today we decided to watch a movie that my sister had recorded on her DVR. The movie was great and it really made me think, so I thought I would talk about it a bit. I want to start by saying that it’s hard to find good family friendly videos now days. That is one of the reasons that I always feel compelled to write a review or share when I do find a good family friendly or inspiring video.
The movie we watched today was called Courageous.
About the movie:
Four men, one calling: To serve and protect. As law enforcement officers, Adam Mitchell, Nathan Hayes, David Thomson, and Shane Fuller are confident and focused. Yet at the end of the day, they face a challenge that none of them are truly prepared to tackle: fatherhood.
While they consistently give their best on the job, good enough seems to be all they can muster as dads. But they’re quickly discovering that their standard is missing the mark.
When tragedy hits home, these men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith, and their fathering. Can a newfound urgency help these dads draw closer to God … and to their children?
This faith filled movie is packed with action and drama. My sister and I cried many times throughout the movie as it was just so touching. You will find yourself routing the police officers and their family members on, laughing, crying and totally relating to the experiences at hand.
If you are looking for an inspiring movie, I highly recommend you check out Courageous.
*We were not compensated at all for this post. We did not receive anything for writing this review. This is an honest review by myself of a movie that I felt compelled to share with my audience. Thanks!

I hadn’t heard of this movie, but it does sound like a good drama. I’ll look for it.
