It’s no surprise that my house has been taken over by football, I mean considering I live in a house full of males and all!
We love to entertain. I can remember how we would throw together weird concoctions in the kitchen when I was growing up. Sometimes they worked out and others we were left questioning our decision to throw in certain ingredients. I particularly remember the time my sister was eating crackers and I decided to put cream cheese on them. It then hit me that it needed something more so I got out the jar of banana peppers. (Now, maybe someone has this recipe documented already, but at that moment I had never heard of nor tried this concoction, so in my mind it was an original recipe).
The result—-deliciousness!
We have been making this simple snack for family gatherings and late night football treats ever since!
Don’t believe me though, try it yourself!
INGREDIENTS:
Crackers (we prefer Ritz or Town House)
Cream Cheese (Whipped or softened for easy spreading)
Jar of Banana Peppers
DIRECTIONS:
Spread Cream Cheese on Crackers
Top with Banana Peppers
That’s it, Enjoy!
